I heard her on the MSNBC Countdown podcast today, she's great. My absentee ballot is winging its way to Volusia County. What about you? Are you voting in F.L.A.?
Ha, that IS funny! I don't watch Sarah much (is her show still on TV?) but I like her multi-level humor. Even as she's pushing Obama, she highlights the gulf that still exists between blacks and Jews, and she illustrates the fact that he really has no specific qualifications that make him better than McCain. Her cynicism is hilarious.
Marvin-- I didn't even know she had a show in the U.S. until earlier today-- ugh, I'm so out of touch. I'm going to have to see if it is on Comedy Central here-- I think that's the channel it's on in the states??
Yup, I think she's still on Comedy Central - http://sarahsilverman.comedycentral.com/index.jhtml
I'm not even sure I get that channel. I don't watch Mad Tv or SNL or even Colbert. Don't care. I like dramedys better than straight comedy. And today's comedy just makes me miss the Carol Burnett Show and stuff like that from before I was even born. THEM wuz funny.
This blog is to chronicle my life abroad as an expat mom with small children.
It's easy to think that moving to Australia would not cause complete culture shock (being that we speak the same language for the most part), but in reality, it's not that simple.
I'm hopeful that at the end of this journey I will refer back to this blog and appreciate everything we've experienced and ultimately survived.
Update June 2014: We have just moved back to Sydney after spending 2.5 years in San Francisco. This is much easier the second time around because my kids already love Vegemite and I speak fluent Aussie.

okay, that was hilarious! :)
I usually don't like her all that much, but this was awesome.
Sarah Silverman is wonderful, hilarious, and annoying as fuck.
I mean, she says "poop." It makes me uncomfortable. Say shit, like normal people.
But yeah. Best video ever.
I showed Nathan and we both just laughed together. Fantastic!
I heart Sarah Silverman. LOL... She's so, um, rude. :-D
She does rule even if she says poop.
