A Survey About Me

Sometimes when I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy, I like to give people a little insight into the real me. My blog friend, Co-ree-nuh (that all Webster for Corrina) had this on her site, and when I saw the question about cantaloupe-- I knew I needed in. When your sister barfs cantaloupe all over you at the tender young age of 5 or 6, you never get over it.

Here I am, the one that you love, asking for another daaaay---
sorry, did I just sing that outloud?

First off, what’s your name?
Laura

How old?
36 and a half (I even had cake on my half birthday, thanks honey).

Originally Chicago, grew up in Florida.

Who’s the lucky someone?
Well, I'm not sure if we'll call him lucky.

Who’s the bff?
The fiery red head and the lone New Yorker.

Who’s the hero?
Jesus is my hero. I know you’re shocked- it’s cool. (edit: this was accidentally left over from the person who originally filled in the answers-- though, as some of you know-- I'm all about Jesus-- like in a funny way, since of course I'm Jewish-- WWJD right?)

What’s the eye color?
Grayish blue

What’s the hair color?
New and improved blond, better blond.

How many times have you been in love?
Third time's a charm.

I am definitely planning on it.

Most of the time.

I am the peer pressure.

What is the vacation you’re most looking forward to?

I like both.

In middle school were you the “popular one”?

The Colbert Report.

What other shows do you watch with some of the same actors?
I have no idea what that means.

What is your favorite thing to eat with a cup of coffee?
I let my coffee stand alone.

What is the thing we’d find you ordering at Starbucks?
If in the U.S. a iced peppermint mocha with 1/2 of the syrups. If in Australia, nothing-- because Starbucks here tastes like ass.

What brand does your wardrobe mostly consist of?
Not mostly anything.

Do you have all your teeth?
Got rid of 4 wisdom teeth-- so no.

How about braces or a retainer?
Never had either.

I love reading these.

The Jesus thing intrigues me.

And that's sweet that you got a cake for your half birthday.

First, I am so excited to leave you the longest comment in history. Second, I wonder if this thing has a character limit. Third, I think I threw up something else entirely on you. I am pretty sure you're mixing up when I had the flu and threw up cantaloupe and when me and you were laughing so hard on the couch in the den when I burped, hiccuped, and laughed and all my dinner came flying out on your lap. Sorry about that :(

First off, what’s your name?
Jill

How old?
33

Where from?
Originally Chicago, grew up in Florida.

Who’s the lucky someone?
There are 2 lucky someones. Some call us a triad. The fat one is eating right now and the other is licking himself.

Who’s the bff?
Daisy

Who’s the hero?

What’s the eye color?

Crack only.

Sorta.

Yes all the time. It's what my friends call "rallying" and what I call "drunk."

What is the vacation you’re most looking forward to?
Kauai - on the beach for 2 weeks.

Watermelon or Cantaloupe?
Watermelon, duh. I'm the one who threw up the cataloupe.

Yes.

What exact time and date were you born at?
I was born at 10:44pm on May 17, 1975, after a long day at the zoo and my mom eating too much fried shrimp from my grandpa's favorite place. Probably what caused me to come 2 days early.

What is the thing we’d find you ordering at Starbucks?
For all the workers to get down on their hands and knees and beg the gods for forgiveness for their disgusting coffee, horrible business practices, and terrible working conditions of the coffee farmers... Unless of course I'm with my mom, and then maybe a decaf frappacino- mocha style with half the chocolate.

What brand does your wardrobe mostly consist of?
Thrift store brand.

All but my 2 front teeth.

Oooo! I love that you did that too! You're so funny. I'm thinking I'll be making those silly things a semi-regular thing so you should have no problem with your 6 month quota. lol

Jillycakes- I love your answers about the popular-- I had no idea we were both pulled in both directions there.
I am grossed out completely by your mango/peach answer--yuck. Glad to hear you're saving yourself for marriage... are you a born again virgin? Um, it was when you were like 2 years old that you threw up the cantaloupe on me.. the other barfing episode was completely separate. Oh how I wish I was "watching" Weeds with you! Bummer about your 2 front teeth you were so cute when you had them.

Deens- The Jesus answer was accidentally left over from Corrina-- but I still meant it in a I'm-Jewish-but-I-still-think-Jesus-
is-a-righteous-dude way.

Corrina--Sweet, I'll be copying and pasting your surveys!

Marvin- If you like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain.

Anonymous- Since I hate people who misspell and I kept looking at how I wrote "firey" instead of fiery-- thank god I saw your comment! Yeah, who's all fiery and shit-- did you see they're having a FW reunion in NYC???

See Jill- you thought your comment was the longest??

All I can think of to say now is I love my cousins so much.

I'm so glad I have you guys.

See? I'm getting all emotional now.

I'm glad you guys (and your friend) like Jesus so much.

I'm not sure I have the same opinion, but I DO love Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. Although I prefer Judas.

Jill, I didn't know you read Harry Potter. I'm so excited! Tim and I love Harry Potter.

I think Dumbeldore is one of my heros too....and JK Rowling.

Anyway. I love you guys!!!!!

I believe mine is still the longest Laura. BUT- you are by far the funniest.

Amazing how I can always learn new things about you by reading your surveys - I so appreciate your humor and insight!! Not sure if I'm the Lone New Yorker - If I am, that is 1) flattering that I'm in the top two
2) Sad that I am "lone"
