But on the other hand, though I am not a vegetarian-- I have always had vegetarian aspirations, and flirted off and on through the years with meat abandonment-- though it's obviously never stuck. But why, why, why-- oh why, do you want chips that taste like chicken?
Or Honey Baked Ham or Burgers???

That is so weird!! I guess pickle flavored chips might sound weird too. Of course, I don't like those either!
Haven't tried the pickle flavored chips either but maybe they would be good on a bun with Burger Rings. It's really gross.
"Chicken" flavoured just means they have chicken salt. Chicken salt tastes a lot like a chicken bullion cube, but less intense. At KFC, all of their french fries (also called chips) are made with chicken salt, too.
Burger Rings taste as much like real burgers as Cheetos taste like real chedder cheese. It's like a cheesey-corny mixture of spices. Very salty. My husband loves them. (I prefer Twisties, which are the closest approximation to Cheetos I can find)
It's been a long time since I've had Honey Baked Ham, but I think they actually tasted like ham...or a chemical approximation thereof. It wasn't too bad, though.
Now if you REALLY want to have a cross-cultural experience, try the Musk-flavoured LifeSavers. :)
Though I haven't tried any of the chips-- I am all about chicken salt. I went and bought my very own bottle of it! Sweet/salty--orange? Yum.
Musk flavored lifesavers--like sucking a bottle of cologne-- sounds delish.
I remember noticing this meat-chip phenomenon when we were in Australia a couple of years ago. It's similar in Japan.

my parents read, as do all my friends, and a few relatives who lie and say they don't.
the thing is, i dont much care. if they dont wanna know what they are reading then they should stop. the only thing i really leave off is major fights with the husband, because they are mostly my fault and i dont need the family mad at him cuz i picked a fight. also i obviously leave off all the fights between my mom and i.
